Philosophy of the Wise-About-Weight Program

The Wise-About-Weight program is focused on initiating and maintaining lifestyle changes that help a person lead a more active and healthy life. Instead of a narrow focus on losing weight, the program has a broader approach to gaining health. A healthy lifestyle includes making choices about our nutrition (what we put in our mouths), our level of physical activity (how often we move our muscles), and our thoughts and behaviors (what we do with our minds).

The Wise-About -Weight program provides the client with the knowledge and support in these three areas. The program has proven research, science, and strategies that actually give each client tools and techniques to impact their health for the better. This program isn’t about a “before” and “after” picture like so many other programs. It’s about a “before” and a “from now on” approach to life and health.
